We are an art-deco 1903’s themed cocktail lounge and community space inspired by its next-door neighbors, State Theater, aiming to preserve history, promote education, and build a space where dreams come alive in the heart of Downtown Modesto. We aspire to be a vibrant gathering place for our community, a classroom space for the State Theater’s film school, an event venue for local groups, and a great place to take a break from the daily grind. Intermission aspires to bring our community together, invigorating the local history of our town and its people with a 1930s style flair. The opportunities space and environment bring are endless, but our primary goal is simple: We want to make Intermission the best part of your day.

This project takes the current logo and branding system (or lack thereof) of a chosen local restaurant and formulates a new branding system that effectively represents the establishments mission and values. By studying their audiences, the branding and identity intentionally attracts their customers and the art deco theme that makes them stand out above other local restaurants. This system includes a new logo, business card, envelope, letterhead, A2 card, and A2 envelope. Ensures highest quality through the use of paper types and ink, cutting using crop marks/ rulers, and mounting.
